You know, for much of Magneto's history he was "Magnus", not "Erik". The Erik thing was invented in 1993 and more recently they decided that it was just an assumed name and not his real name.

Definitely more than with McKellan. And Magneto was born in Germany, like Fassbender. He's not some English guy like McKellan.
