No, sum1.

They used to be the Minneapolis Lakers and played in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is known as the "land of 10,000 lakes," even though it's more like 14,444. The team moved to Los Angeles in the 1960s and just decided to keep the name rather than come up with a new name.

Well, sometimes it helps. Most of what I know about stuff comes from books, magazines, articles, documentaries, and interviews I read and watched long before Wikipedia existed.

Sum...actually I'm more of a sports nutt than Alex is... I like multiple teams in each league and he only likes his city teams..... I can also list the top 20 players in eacch league... Alex knows NFL pretty well...but that's about it...lol .
