The Flyers lost in overtime. They blew a 4-2 lead in the 3rd Period and lost in overtime, 4-5.

I'm not excusing it, Rita. Unknowingly only means that a parent isn't being attentive enough to know what damage their doing. It's abuse by neglect or omission of action.

Sorry Alex. It's just that childhood abuse is one of the topics I feel passionate about. It makes me furious that no doctor ever asks about it when it's such an important part of your medical history!

Don't apologize, Rita. I'm glad you're passionate about because it's an important topic. Too many parents have no idea about the damage they due, either directly or indirectly, and either by abusive action or omission of action and lack of responsibility or laziness.
