Alex...the funny thing is I can get vanilla ice cream, mint liquid extract, greed food coloring for about 5 dollars or so and it would last me.... well at least 5 McCafe milkshakes....

Awesome! But you do know that Shamrock shakes are mint milkshakes, so the green coloring wouldn't be enough. You'd need mint ice cream.

Green isn't even Ireland's real national colour. That's blue. That's why when Ireland had a fascist organization early in the 20th century they were called the Blueshirts.

mint Extract...it doesn't cost all that much. Fast food places are for people who hate to cook, are rarely home, people who travel a lot, people with too busy days..... so a single person or even a married couple with a steady job between them... yes, they can afford and enjoy Shamrock shakes.....
