X-Men Rant/Vent {2} - If you ask us...not enough Scott in the movies

I was never all that comfortable with the movies seemingly sidelining Scott Summers. X2 got away with it, and it went from there. I hope at some point Scott can be a major player in the X-films again.Played by the original actor of course, perhaps in some sort of flashback story.

X2 did start it
 but X3 don't even get us started  we always get back to it; Scott's death  kills us__________________

I remember watching X3 in the theater and thinking, come on, you can't kill Cyclops! But sure enough, they did!

Now I would very much like to continue that story idea and see what happens next for him. That was one of the suprises about the film with its restored timeline, seeing him pop up out of nowhere....well, it was Xavier's office but you get the idea...so basically, the timeline restored goes up to the end of X1 and ignores at least X3....where does X2 fit in? is it still a part of the timeline?

Our believe here on the board is that everything is non-existent after DOFP; only thing that exists now for the timeline is FC/DOFP but thats more for our Speculation/Theories thread

Re-watching the movies again
and one thing that also bugs me is the "mistakes" that I call them. Charles told Logan that he met Erik when he was 17. So is Charles 17 in FC and was able to graduate already or is that just wrong when they did FC. As well; Wolverine Origins he is on his feet when Scott/kids meet them when Gambit missed them__________________
