I appreciate it. Ok, here's something I honestly hope they don't do in MCU, and that is the love triangle with Scott, Jean, and Logan. It's a waste of time and a waste on all three characters.

It wasn't a big thing in the X-Men comics until the 21st century.

Well, it did exist somewhat in the 70s and 80s, but mostly as Logan making moves on Jean and Scott getting jealous, while Jean... well, let's just say I have no idea what the writers were thinking. They probably needed a female perspective to write her better because I seriously can't believe a woman in real life would actually let that situation continue. In the 90s they dialed back on it after Jean's return in the late 80s with X-Factor and Scott and Jean's wedding in the early 90s. The Age of Apocalypse storyline kinda brought that issue back up, but only as an alternate timeline thing. It wasn't until the 2000 movies came out that the comics started really pushing that narrative, and that's when things starting going bad. Scott and Jean's characters were ruined during that time.
I'm guessing that Marvel is steering clear of that these days for a couple of reasons. One, I think Twilight really soured audiences on the whole concept of triangles. No one can stand that Team Edward/Team Jacob stuff anymore. Two, I think the comics might've realized how much damage that had done to the characters over time. And three... well, let's just say that Kinberg let on something that I think Marvel is also feeling at the moment; that Logan's advances on Jean in the past don't look that good given today's... political climate, shall we say? Kinberg stated that he felt it was inappropriate, which is why he never once considered having Wolverine in Dark Phoenix, although it really wouldn't have mattered since Jackman is finished playing the character. But yeah, I think Marvel is shying away from that these days. __________________

Yeah, I agree, and I think they will probably steer clear of Scott, Jean, and Emma love triangle as well.
