I get it's Disney, but it's also Feige. He's the one who chose to go with Edgar Wright's Ant-Man script instead of scrapping it and having someone do a re-write that was more compatible with the MCU, which prevented Hank and Janet from being in the Avengers movies as Ant-Man and The Wasp. He's the one who allowed James Gunn to prevent Adam Warlock from being in the Infinity War storyline by using Star Lord in the GotG movies instead of Warlock. He's the one who was obsessed with Peggy Carter and sabotaged Sharon Carter's character and her relationship with Steve Rogers. He's the idiot who told Joss Whedon, "you don't need Hank Pym to have Ultron," and then drove Whedon out of the MCU with his meddling during the production of Age of Ultron. He's the one who insisted on making Age of Ultron an advertisement for Infinity War rather than a coherent movie.

Feige's the one who decided to make Civil War a Captain America movie instead of an Avengers movie and tanked the original concept for the third Captain America movie involving the Serpent Society. He's the one that gave the green light for Peter Parker to once again be a punk teenager in the MCU instead of the 20-something character he's been in the comics since the 1970s. He's the reason why Wonder Man isn't in the Avengers movies or in Wanda's storyline. He's the one who gave the go-ahead to eliminate Mar-Vell from the Captain Marvel movie and make Carol Danvers a misandrist, neofeminist stereotype. Disney doesn't know anything about the comics. They rely on Kevin Feige to geek out for them because none of them know anything about these characters or stories. All they ask of him is to make things "audience-friendly," and he wimps out all the time and desecrates these characters, imposing his own ideological and personal bias rather than respecting the source material.
