First of all, hardly any of the old characters feature, then it has a completely different feel to any Star Trek I've ever seen. It's a lot darker for ex.

Ugh, now I'm getting nostalgic for the 1980s again.  I remember the first time I saw Jean Luc Picard in 1987 on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I didn't like how they made the bridge of the Enterprise look like someone's living room. And the phasers looked like Dustbusters.  There's a reason why the pistol design works, and it has to do with ergonomics and accuracy.__________________
