Yeah, I wish the Fox X-Verse could have continued. Not looking forward to the MCU desecration of the X-Men.

Well... she did a very good performance as a character, but not so much as Jean specifically. Jean is an "all-American girl." Sophie is conspicuously English and couldn't pass for anything else.

I like her in the role too, but she's not a very comic-accurate version of Jean. For one thing, Jean in the comics doesn't come off stuck-up and, judging by GOT and the X-Men films, stuck-up is an important part of Sophie's repertoire.

Well, I never think comic book characters are cast well in movies.

All they can do is come as close as they can, but more often it's about who the director wants to work with.
