There's nothng funny about it, Sarah. It's only old sexist attitudes that hold that a guy has to be taller than his girlfriend. Reasonably speaking, there's nothing more wrong with the woman beng taller than with the man beng taller.

I think what Sophie did was brave and unconventional, in the face of the prejudice about that kind of thing. Even if the Jonas Brothers are nothing to write home about. It increases my respect for her.
Btw, shouldn't we be adding Sophie into the thread title? __________________

I wasn't aware that there was a prejudice against dating someone shorter than you.
Remember Cher and Sonny Bono? And my mocking of the Jonas Brothers has more to do with their lousy track record when it comes to their dating history and how it affects the women they're with, like what happened to Demi Lovato.  That was sad. Yeah, we should think about giving the Cyclops and Jean Grey threads to Tye and Sophie now. I don't think that James or Famke are coming back, and Logan and Apocalypse seem to be signaling an end to the old movie continuity. __________________
