Thanks for the new thread, but it's actually "your", not "you're".

That top pic is from the X-Men cartoon from the early 90's. I don't mean to stray off-topic, but that old X-Men cartoon looked silly compared to Batman: The Animated Series, which came out the same year. It took a while for X-Men cartoons to get their act together. X-Men: Evolution was perhaps the best.

I never paid any attention to the cartoons. I didn't consider them to be the real thing and I still don't.

That X-Men comic cover up there in the OP is from issue 155 from 1982. It's by Dave Cockrum. I always hated his art on the X-Men, particularly his second run on the title, after John Byrne left. It tended to come off inept and childish. He really looked awful coming after John Byrne's smooth pencilling. The only thing John Byrne couldn't draw was children. He drew them as squat little adults. He always made a mess of drawing Franklin Richards in the Fantastic Four (Note to Sarah: That's Reed and Sue's kid.)
Oh and the guy in the red and black pirate costume on the cover is Corsair, Scott's father who's a space pirate. __________________

Didn't make the OP my original co-moderator way back when Teresa did it most likely
Thanks for the side note I know who Reed and Sue are so that's a plus __________________

I liked both X Men TAS and X Men Evolution. X Men TAS is one of the best cartoons/shows ever made IMO. Evolution got cancelled too early, I wish it would of gotten a S5 after they fought Apocalypse.
