I'm not expecting Gambit and Rogue to meet in their universe cause Rogue is in present day as a teenager and so far Gambit was grown in the past in Origins and now in X Men Apocalypse. I hate how they ignored Gambit in the movies and cause of that, no Gambit/Rogue. Putting her with Iceman instead.

Same. My OTP is totally ignored in the films and they had an epic love story in the comics.

It is wrong but really hope it gets resolved and they fix the timeline to give these two their epic lovestory

I guess they don't. Even Logan/Jean and Jean/Cyclops weren't considered epic, in the movies at least
