Sadly, I can't really say that I'm surprised. Such a massive shame. Tim Miller would have made a much better movie. I seriously hate that he's not directing this. I might not even see it in theaters now. I'll still update this thread, but I'm not really looking forward to the movie anymore.

The marketing for this movie has been rather disappointing as well. The first movie had far better marketing.

It seems true to me. I've had a bad feeling ever since Tim Miller left. I think Ryan Reynolds is having too much control over this movie. Not only is he a producer, but he's also credited as a co-writer this time around. It's not good when an actor has excessive control on a movie. A similar thing happened with Tom Cruise and The Mummy.

Yeah, you'd think that Ryan would know better after Deadpool saved his career.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe they'll try to do some reshoots after the test screenings.

I've made my decision. I'll wait until this movie comes out on Blu-ray and then I'll rent it. (I have a Blu-ray/DVD plan with Netflix) I'm not wasting my money in a theater for a supposedly crap movie.

I'll update this thread with the next trailer and other info, but I think I'm done with Deadpool after this movie.

Deadpool 2 may not appear on Netflix. Both Disney and Fox are pulling their stuff off Netflix.

In the US, Netflix has their own rental service in addition to streaming.

Personally I think you shouldn't give up on Deadpool 2 so soon, based basically on just one guy's report. It could have merits his sources didn't see.

But then I don't see films until they come out on dvd anyway.

No rights issues or anything like that. As far as rentals go. That only applies to streaming content (except for the Netflix originals).
