Very funny, sum1. No, I just don't know a lot of the newer TV actors out there that well.

Well, if it's going to depend on who you've met...

Well, it's also because I haven't been watching as much TV as I used to. It's tough to think of someone who fits Bruce Wayne's image.

I think way back Gregory Peck could have done it.

Well, in the comics it's just Charles and Magnus. And in the early movies Mystique was just a flunky. It's only in the more recent movies that Mystique has had an elevated status and I'd rather they'd given that to a female character who actually was important in the comics -Storm.

Gregory Peck? Interesting choice, sum1.
Oh, I remember back when Magneto was called Magnus and not Erik. __________________

The Erik bull was invented in 1993 and ditched about 1997/1998, but the movies stuck with it for some reason. Later comics called him Max.

The surname he uses in the films isn't his real surname either. The whole thing was an alias he cooked up, along with a fake Gypsy background. In 1998 he killed the guy who faked it for him and ended the identity.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks, sum1. Hollywood prefers oversimplifying things.

I just saw the Dark Phoenix trailer when I went to see Glass today. There does seem to be an air of finality to it, like Fox is conceding that this is the end of their franchise.

Well it pretty clearly is. Does that mean we won't get New Mutants or Deadpool 3, I wonder?
