I thought The Loft was pretty average. It's mostly worth watching for James and the cast.

Yeah, I never even heard of The Loft, LightYears. I think Westworld is the best gig James has gotten lately. It comes back early next year!

Well, I guess I'm waiting for an idea for one. I need more from Tye or James, and I'm not really getting much lately.

Write something about Cyclops, not Tye or James. Like "The X-Men's first leader".

It does kind of piss me off that he's not the first X-Man in the movies the way he is in the comics. That was a key part of his identity. But then they made him kill Professor Xavier in the awful recent comics, and part of his identity had been his loyalty to Xavier. Scott's screwed up everywhere. And I bet we won't see his tactical genius shown in the films.

Both Hollywood and Marvel screwed up Scott, sum1. But I can't help but think that a lot of the bad stuff that happened in the last ten years with Scott in the comics was as a result of how poorly he was treated by the movies and how it affected public perception of him.

It's been more than ten years. It goes back to New X-Men early in this century.

Thanks, LightYears! Ready Player One looks interesting.

Yeah, I know. I just wish that Scott hadn't been so messed up in the movies for the first decade of this century. It shouldn't have taken sixteen years to attempt to do him some justice.

I don't like most Spielberg films, except Schindler's List. He's too safe, nice and sentimental.

I liked Raiders of The Lost Ark, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan, and Close Encounters of The Third Kind. I didn't like Jurassic Park, though. I read Michael Crichton's book, and the movie really dropped the ball. I never saw Schindler's List. But I do agree that Spielberg can get a bit too warm and fuzzy. I hated Hook. A.I. and Minority Report were both forgettable. But I'm willing to give Ready Player One a chance.
