I think Aegina was the best of the 3 islands for a day cruise from Athens. Our first stop was Hydra, spent 2 hours there, and to Poros and spent 1.5 hours and then to Aegina which we had a coach ride around the island

Poros was very nice and so was Hydra but Aegina was very beautiful.
Personally I enjoyed the Greek Island Cruises - you can do 4,5,6 and 7 days. We selected 4 days, which sets off from Pireaus close to Athens and you spend the first day in Mykonos. On the second day, you spend a few hours in Kusadasi in Turkey and then after that we go to Patmos. Next day we spent most of the day in Rhodes. The last day we went to Heraklion in Crete for a few hours and then the last stop was Santorini which was the best island of the lot but too crowded. Next morning we were back at Pireaus Port in Athens. This cruise was worth it. __________________

Hopefully one day
 It is difficult traveling from Canada or the USA to get to Europe or Asia or even Africa. Living in England had advantages for cheap flights to Europe, easy access to North Africa and good flights to Asia. Morocco in North Africa is literally a 3 hour flight from London and so is Tunisia. You get good connecting flights in Dubai and Qatar to some exotic places. Med countries are packed with British tourists though. __________________

Aegina is beautiful. We went around the island on a tour bus and got some magnificent views from the top plus there is a well known church there as well.
I remembered when I did the 4 day Greek Island cruise visiting numerous islands and one of the stops we went to was Kusadasi in Turkey. From there we took a tour to the ancient Roman city of Ephesus which is only 25 minutes from Kusadasi. Ephesus is the place to visit for sure. We came back to Kusadasi and explored this resort town for a couple of hours before we hopped back on our cruise ship and onto to the next destination which was Patmos __________________
