I like tea with a spice to it. Especially teas with cinnamon!

I rarely go to Starbucks (none near work or home) but I guess ever since they bought Tazo, they have not bad tea. I tried their tea latte the other day. Now with them owning Teavana, I expect the quality to be even better.

I hope they run their Teavana stores differently now... the aggressive sales in that store turn me off...

That bad huh? I remembered going to a Teavana a few years back (before David's tea existence) in Chicago, it was a great place.

Well before it was Teavana, it was "Teopia" then it changed...and "Teopia" was bad..they were in your face and when I would ask about a tea, they were like "I don't know, I just work here"...terrible!

Never heard of the Tea-opia (now Teavana)... sounds like some of the sales 'techniques' remain in practice there.... We'll see now that Starbucks bought them... |

yeah I know. If there was one near work, they'll so make money with me. Geez I have nothing nada here around work except Tim Horton's but their tea was blah...I ordered a tea latter there at one point, the lady didn't know what I was talking about. I pointed their menu, it's there. The latte was tasteless. I think the problem is the proportion of water and tea. The tea itself looks ok, a colleague used to buy tea bags there. It might not be the tastiest but it's convenient for sure.

Starbucks allows you to use two tea bags, you just have to ask. Timmy's coffee is bland to me now, it's like drinking pee water!
Was downtown with my Mom yesterday shopping and stopped in this new bulk tea shop. Not really new, but new to us. It's called "Silk Road". Silk Road Tea Store I got two teas to try. I loved it because it's a serve yourself shop. You get to smell all the teas, and they smell so divine!!! I got two tins, they are: Chocolate Panda Red Bush Chaiflavour profile: a playful trio of mint, chocolate & vanilla flavour profile: a racy, invigorating, spicy character |

Having some Chocolate Panda tea..so good! Love the mix of the chocolate with the mint and hint of vanilla!
There is a trick to tea also, some you have to have scalding boiling water for it to steep correctly, and others, you have to wait until it's boiled...then after a minute has passed...pour it... It's weird but you can burn tea...like you can burn coffee! |

Yep totally agree. The best is to get a themometer and a timer. Water temperature and steep time are key.
