so i'm thinking of getting a tattoo that says, "fearless" because i've gone through a lot in less than 20 years. any thoughts?

I think that word describes alot, and with the right style of writing (which would you choose?) it could be beautiful and elegant.
Something simple like this can mean so much. Plus with you going through a lot in your life, it makes sense to have something like this tattooed on you.

i would choose the font sastifaction (spelled that wrong.) but I'm thinking of getting it on my wrist, however my parents won't like it.

If you've gone through a lot in 20 years, wouldn't that make you old enough to sit down with your parents and explain to them that you're getting this tattoo?

I know parents are hard, no matter how old we get (boy do I ever know it). I'm just saying it depends on what their objections are.

If the parents are that big of an issue, you could always reconsider the location of the tattoo.

my sister has a tattoo too, they don't mind now, but were annoyed when she got it.

Well, now, you see, I'm thinking that means you're in the clear. They've had the shock already and gotten over it.

The only reason to get shocked/annoyed at you getting a tattoo would be because somehow you and your sister have different expectations. Which would be normal, to be clear. But it wouldn't be fair, so that's your in.

Sunny is right, you're an adult and if they've already gotten over your sister's you should have no issue. Plus when you explain what it means to you and why you want/got it, it should help squash any complaints.

It's not easy but you're an adult so they legally can't object.

The only things is to try to not be confrontational about it when they find out, try to be as civil as possible, it'll help in getting your message through.

I think Kali is completely right. The trick is to not be confrontational about it.

You're getting this tattoo because you want it, not to piss them off. It'll go down easier if you remain unemotional.

I have two tattoos now. The new one is anchor on my ankle.

Made it because my parents have always been there for me.
