I know several people, including my sister, who can't stand cheese. A normal thing for me but also helpful in the sense that it leaves me more of it

My brother and I have a similar arrangement since we like (and dislike) different foods. So at family gtherings, he takes my cheese and beef/pork products (or things with nuts since I'm allergic) and I take all the seafood.

All parties win for sure since my dad and stepmother can't seem to remember that my brother also has foods he doesn't like, This way, their ignorance is allowed to proceed unchallenged.

Ah, sucks that they won't remember but at least you both have a good trade off as a result.

Past a certain age, trying to change parents becomes pointless. It only adds stress for everyone.

So at least we've worked it out for ourselves.

Plus, my youngest nephew is an extremely picky eater. Makes me look like a foodie in comparison!
