The Non-Smokers Thread #1: Because there are too many reasons why you shouldn't!
First, no offense to those of you who do smoke, that's your choice and I respect that.
Now.... I started this thread because i'm tired of being a victim to second-hand smoke. As much as I try and try to stay away from smokers, it just isn't possible these days. Whether I'm in a non-smoking part of the casino, non-smoking part of a restaurant, walking down the sidewalk, at work, at the beach, etc.. it's just impossible to stay away. Unless I wanna hold my breath everytime a smoker walks by or I have to walk by them, there's just no way around it. And even if I hold my breath I'll still smell like smoke. Smelling like smoke is sometimes just as bad as being the victim of second-hand smoking. I very very very rarely go out to any bars or clubs just because I don't want my clothes and hair to smell like smoke. Once I came home from a dance club and my cat refused to let me pick him up like I always do when I get home. I guess because I smelt terrible. I use to date someone who smoked, but now I refuse to date anyone who smokes. Even if they are the nicest, most intelligent person in the world the smoking turns me off. Smoking just makes pretty girls ugly to me! Anyhow sorry if i'm too blunt or offensive, I really don't mean to be... I'm just stating my opinion. I don't hate smokers, I have family members who smoke! I just hate being the victim of second-hand smoke. __________________

Cool idea for a thread! I'm a non-smoker as well and i get really agitated too by all these second-hand smoke that i have to breathe in. But well sometimes one just have no choice I guess but to live with the circumstances happening.

TBH, I'm pretty much done with this god damn 'full of fools' forum anyway. Not going to be taking part in any active discussions here anymore.

I hate smokers sorry but I doMy mum gets really bad headache from people who smoke and I feel sick when I'm around them Some of my family members smokes  I wish they stop, it's not healthy for them *sighs*__________________

I'm a nonsmoker but I have to be around smokers all day. I work in a casino and it's so bad everywhere you go there is just smoke all in the air. It makes me so sick.

I work in a hotel, so there's plenty of smoking. It's not too bad.
My father quit smoking when I was born, so it's somthing I could never do. I know it was hard to do for him. __________________

Ack I'm definitely a non-smoker. My Mom, Dad, and Brother smoke and it just makes me gag whenever I'm around it. I remember my co-worker who smoked and whenever she came back into the office she stunk so bad. I like not stinkin...

Yesterday at work my co-worker came in from her smoking break and walked into my office. She smelt horrible. As the day went by that smell just wouldn't go away. My office reeked with cigarrette smell. Some parts of my office were worse than others. I kept spraying lysol and my perfume, but it wouldn't go away. I didn't understand why the smoke was still hanging around my office. Then my boss came in and started coughing. She made me go to her office, because she couldn't stand the smell. FINALLY I found out what was causing the smell. I reached over to throw something in my trash and found a used cigarrette. My co-worker had thrown her damn cigarrette in my trash. OMH, I could've killed her. I confronted her too and I think she got pissed off. Oh well!
