I'm just posting this because the topless movement was mentioned and I find the title hilarious.

Mike Huckabee wants guys to cover their manboobs because feminism is too confusing for him

Let's turn this Duggar case into something else...

Is is right legally and morally to release juvenile records if the names are redacted but you know everyone will know who they are about?

I say fine. I don't really care. I mean I can see how it can be upsetting to both victim and perp. That said I don't believe they should be released without the consent of the victims. It seems like it would only draw attention to them and what they went through.

I'm not able to post the picture but I also saw this today and was fascinated by it. I've never seen a white tail deer that looks like this.

I know this isn't news. However, I know a lot of people out there are under the impression that I try to value men more than women or that I am a men's rights activist. Which they believe means to hate women. I am none of these things.

Recently in movies the issue of the new Mad Max movie was brought up. Some men are calling it feminist propaganda. That "Hollywood is a garbage propoganda machine which spews out this feminist drivel" while do see it in some shows.

This movie was not one of them. It had no feminist agenda. Not that equality would be wrong. It was about a group of women and men who had been tricked and manipulated and used by a man. He took advantage of them. As people have done in the past to others. Some built religions behind it ... we now call them cults. Still this movies wasn't about painting women as good and men as evil. It was a story where a tyranny took over and took advantage of those weaker people.

So to all men who agree that in some case men do have it worse then women and everyone should be equal. This is not a bad movie. It was actually a pretty good action flick. It didn't support one side of sex or the other. It simply supported wanting justice for the crimes that were done.

Long live Mad Max!

Mike Huckabee is an idiot. Not that there are many smart conservatives or republicans out there, but he's a special kind of stupid (I'm still mad at him for his transphobic comments against Caitlyn Jenner).

As for Patrick Stewart, I agree with him. I'm very pro gay rights...but a bakery doesn't have to do something they don't want to do. While it's stupid to turn down business in this economic climate wherever in the world (this one is in UK), it's still their choice as a business. Nobody can force anyone to do anything (in free countries at least). I know a lot of people try to boycott places like that, but someone who knows what they're protesting wouldn't support Christian shops like that in the first place, lol. That's why I don't eat at Papa John's...they hate gay people (i'm not gay though).

I'm not sure how to take that. As I am a Republican. Still, they do tend to say a lot of stupid things. For once I would like to see a Republican like me. To bad most of them tend to be rich old white people who don't understand it's not the 50's anymore. God, if you believe in him, isn't going to judge someone for something as small as who they are sleeping with imo. You will be judged on your character and actions if anything. Choices and people are a lot more complicated then just black and white, right and wrong.

I find it interesting that he said they turned them down not because they were gay but because of the words they wanted to have on the cake. Re-read the article. It was late last night give me a break people.

I don't see how support gay marriage is offensive but ok. I am more offended by it wanting to have a picture of my beloved Ernie there with Bert saying that they are gay. Can't two grown men (puppets) live together and be best friends without being gay!?

I love Papa John's... they're anti-gay? I haven't heard of that before... doesn't matter the only Papa John's here left a long time ago.

It is so true.

Great cartoon! I hadn't seen that one.

I had read a thoughtful article on how Jenner's experience compares to other transgender people. I can't find it now but this one seems to be insightful.

I looked him up. Sad, still good pizza. I wish the store was back in town.

Anyone else get tired of the labels that separate us as people. We have the fight for gay rights, women's rights, men's rights...smurf rights...etc. Once the fighting is done.. we always find something else to fight about. Can't we just agree that you should treat people the way you want to be treated.

Except for Smurfs... with their blue skin and white hats.... disgusting people.

You see in the Us at least there is a problem with money and religion in politics. You can not run a campaign without money. And you can not win some voters without religion.

Only the better fortunate get to run or try to be president. The rule is what be 35 years or older. So there are so much out of touch with the demographic they actually need to win and guide into the upcoming years.

It's almost hilarious that our nation has the rule of separation of church and state. Yet too many things in our laws seems to be focused on them.

Most people will vote for a specific candidate BECAUSE of their religious beliefs. Like a church will fully back someone. Romney had that with the Mormon church, Obama with many urban churches (I live in Detroit and it was crazy the support they gave him) so on and so forth. I think it's okay and good to say that someone of your own religion (or denomination) must be a good person. Sometimes it's the case where that person is a better person because of religion...sometimes it isn't. But yeah, in the USA, it's a huge issue. Half of our political issues aren't even political anymore...they're religious with politicians tackling them to appeal to their demographic.

Maybe this would be a good time to explain why I am a Republican. I do not come from money. I like in an apartment complex funding mostly by the government if I understand it right. Still I have seen family members abuse the system to get "free money" from the government. Only that money is not free. It comes from the hard working people whom pay taxes.

Religion on the other hand people like to really dig in deep and fight for. I myself am pro-life. I believe that the a child is created upon conception. That said I do not believe that it is my place to make anyone feel my choice of being pro life should be theirs. They choose their own choice. That is what freedom IMO is all about.

The real problem is what people try to interpret their own religion to fit their own causes. Religion should have no place in politics. So I believe men in the case of abortion deserve the same rights... NO. Men don't need the same rights. However they should have rights. You can not call it a woman's choice but a man's responsibility. She made the choice it is her responsibility.

Too many men are place in prison because am woman made a choice to have a child and the man can not pay for that child.

Her choice her responsibility.
