old thread

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 04:51 AM

Thanks very much for the new thread and  the intro.

Some other good sites for clothes that I've ordered from and that ship internationally :D

VictoriasSecret.com: The Official Site of Victoria's Secret
www.ae.com
Karmaloop.com - Urban Clothing / Global Streetwear Culture
birdmotel.com - Beach Girl Online Store
GlamourPuss Princess - The Online Boutique For Australasian Fashion
Glamourpuss of Sydney

ETA: The last three are Aussie sites that can ship to most countries and have some get Australian designers :D

-Kelly- 10-26-2006 05:17 AM

Thanks for the new thread

Bella :eyebrows: Victoria's Secret...hey?

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 05:25 AM

Yes Kelly

I like having nice underwear ... it completes the outfit :P

ETA: Another one to add .. this designer comes from the same state as me and Mischa Barton has worn some of her tops :D

Wheels & Doll Baby - Clothes to Snare a Millionaire

I didn't realise what a shopaholic I was until I came to this thread

-Kelly- 10-26-2006 05:31 AM

That's too much info :lmao:

I stick to big w or k-mart underwear  I'm cheap

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 05:41 AM

I do like Bonds though :D

-CherryPixie- 10-26-2006 05:52 AM

I added all the links :)
I have to check those out sometime, I love looking at online stores. Even though I never order anything(shipping costs to Europe are way too high), I can spend a lot of time lookig at stuff and sometimes even adding items to the shopping cart

I like underwear but almost all my underwear is cheap H&M underwear. I don't like going shopping for underwear in these expensive underwear stores where 5 people are trying to find the perfect bra for you

Edited to add: I was thinking if we should maybe add a list of us fashionistas to the opening post. :) I love those kinds of lists. What do you think?

-Kelly- 10-26-2006 05:58 AM

I don't wear bonds ;) it's pricey

-CherryPixie- 10-26-2006 05:59 AM

What's bonds?

 Its expensive here too. I know AE charges about US$30 and Victoria's Secret is expensive as well for shipping. ASOS isn't too bad.

 I do the same! As I change my mind a lot

That happens to me and when they do help they call out across the shop asking what size you're and whether or not you want a g-string (throng) :goof:

Sounds like a great idea to me :D

Bonds is an Australian company that makes underwear, hoodies, t-shirts etc its very comfy Bonds Microsite d

-CherryPixie- 10-26-2006 07:07 AM

Added the list.:D I just added everyone I could find on the old thread, I hope I didn't forget anyone.

I never ordered anything at ASOS but I might try it sometime

:lmao: That's exactly what happens!

So, Bonds is something similar to American Apparel?

The list looks great! Thanks Jen :glow:

I find them really good and shipping from the UK to Australia only takes a week.

 I was in Esprit a while ago and I was just looking at the underwear that they have in the packets and one of the male sales assistants asked if I needed any help and all I could think of how was he going to help me :goof:

Pretty much. Bonds is so comfy and they do the boyleg as well, which is quite cute.

-CherryPixie- 10-26-2006 07:34 AM

I love how the fashion thread has been active lately and that we're already on thread #2 :yay:

:rotfl: Yeah honestly, how was he going to help you!

What's the last thing you bought?
I recently bought a black pullover-like dress. Okay, that's a really bad description  But it's like made from the same material as pullover's usually are. Does that make any sense?
Anyway, I've gone dress crazy lately! Not long ago I used to own like 2 dresses and now in maybe 2 month's time I bought 3 new ones!

It is great ... I think I posted here a couple of times a while ago as I was buying a French Connection dress from ASOS.

:wiggle: That dress sounds really nice. I understand what you mean :D

I  dresses ... they always fit nice and you can do alot with them

Last thing that I bought was from ASOS it was black cardigan, white top, a bracelet and a necklace :D

I'm off to bed and to dream of my new clothes :D

MissAndieWitter 10-26-2006 09:40 AM

I love Wheels & Dollbaby! I always stop by that section in Selfridges. :yay:

Another website to add is eLuxury.com It has my favorite designers (and Louis Vuitton!), among awesome jeans and good deals.

How cute is this travel set? I want it.

tav552 10-26-2006 11:16 AM

woah....this thread is moving along nicely. my internet was acting funky so i couldn't get on sooner.

OT: Jen, i love the House quote in your sig. and what is Sam saying in your avi??

that Juicy travel set is adorable. i have to really push past all the pink though. i like pink but i don't want it everywhere.

thanks for clearing up what Bonds is.

as for Victoria's Secret....i love that place. the employees at the store here in town are really good about keeping everything personal kind of hush hush. ha!

i need to check out all those websites. i love browsing at clothes too...but like you, Jen, i never seem to buy anything either  it's the whole "will it fit???" situation again

Jacob1983 10-26-2006 12:42 PM

So I'm guesing I'm the only guy that posts in this thread? Does that make me a weirdo?

Why are people so embarassed to go into Victoria's Secret? I've never understood that.

I need a new pair of sneakers. My only pair of shoes is falling apart. I would go out and buy a new pair but money is kinda tight right now. I usually wear Vans sneakers.

tav552 10-26-2006 01:56 PM

oh yea, i forgot about my Vans. i never wear them anymore. but oh man, did i love them! they were all i ever wanted....and then i got obsessed with Converse.

i used to be embarassed to go into VS. ....when i was younger because i was extremely anti-pink and that store is an explosion of pink. plus, the thought of being sexy was just....gross. lol but i love it in there now! and the newer stores aren't as pink :lmao:

and no, you're not weird. :D at least i don't think so. i like to hear what kind of things go on in a guy's mind when it comes to women dressing or whatever. how old are you??? ...if you don't mind me asking. and what is something you just don't understand about fashion today?? (this is a semi-test  )

Jacob1983 10-26-2006 04:59 PM

I'm 23. Are you sure you really want to know what goes on in a guy's mind? LOL

I don't understand why women lately are wearing panty hose and tights that are cut off. It looks trashy and tacky to me. Its like the feet and ankle parts are cut off.
I think panty hose and fishnets look good on women but not when they are weird looking.

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 07:44 PM

I  that Juicy travel set :D

I like looking at eluxury ... its a pity that they don't ship overseas. Thank goodness there is a Louis Vuitton where I live.

Jacob The footless tights are really popular here at the moment. I don't mind them, but I don't think I could pull off the look.

 i agree. i don't really mind it....but i don't think i could pull it off. then again, i never tried it out.

my favorite things to shop online for is makeup. i think makeup is a great way for someone to create a fashion forward look. :) i love Sephora and Yves Rocher.

Jacob, ok, perhaps i don't want to know everything. i expected you to say the ripped up jeans. my boyfriend and every other guy that i know just can't understand the point of buying a pair of $80 jeans that are already ripped up. ha!

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 08:26 PM

I buy a lot of my makeup and perfume from Perfume, Skincare, Makeup & Cosmetics from Strawberrynet they're so much cheaper than the deparment stores.

-Kelly- 10-26-2006 08:34 PM

I got my Crocs shoes today but I had to sent them back in the mail today :(
Size M (america size) was a little too big for my feet, so I'm getting Size S
It's funny how it's a australian online business :look:

And Bella :look: Strawberrynet stuff aren't real stuffs, people have said about that website, I just thought I better tell you :look:

tav552 10-26-2006 08:41 PM

Kelly, that's funny how you say size M and size S ;)

Just Peachy. 10-26-2006 08:43 PM

Kelly .. really who? As it all looks pretty legit to me.
