Well, technically, I'm more alone that he is. I mean, my dad is married and his wife is with him. They're together 24/7 as it were, since neither is allowed out much due to being over 70.
It's just that solitude suits me and it does not him. This has been a source of... friction between the two of us my whole life. Also, don't ask me to comment on what his being "all alone" while he and his wife share a five-room condo is supposed to mean. I do know my father. He's a good man. But he also needs to be surrounded by people for life to have joy for him. By which I mean, being surrounded by people on his own terms. He thrives on being the life of the party. So this is not easy on him. And that is troubling to see. __________________

Its really hard, Sunny. And also being in that age bracket, it could be even longer for him.
 My other half is also finding it hard, so used to spending all this time with me, and now we've been apart a long time. I could go without seeing family and friends a bit, but harder without your partner.__________________

Yeah, it's almost been two months for them. So it does seem to be taking its toll.
Not much I can do about it, though. I live well away and, even if I had a driver's licence/car, we're not allowed to move between regions yet.__________________

Ok, well, glad to update that I’m feeling pretty good during the summer off work so far!
Anyone else kind of dreading the upcoming fall/winter though concerning the pandemic? __________________

 I'm not too worried about the fall/winter. I sorta figure it's just gonna keep going like it has since this whole thing started. So there is stress, but I'm getting used to it, you know? __________________
