Just read your message about what happened on your X-mas

I had also a horrible X-mas in my past. In 1995 my father suddenly died. He was just 49 and I was 12 Since then I always have a hard time when december begins.

But I am glad it turned out good for you

I think we have something in common.

16 years ago around this time both of my parents died in a car accident in Oregon ....I was 24 at the time and the eldest of the 4 siblings so I had to become responsible in order to look after my siblings. It was very difficult going through this but due to my positive mindset I was determined not to feel down and depressed. This is the reason that gave me the success in my life and be positive. Life is a test but it depends on how the individuals react to it.

Anyway I'm absolutely fine and I don't need any support
My boys are waiting for their presents too
And a baby girl that brings a smile to my face - this is my happiness

That's horrible, Mike. These things are always so much worse when children are involved.

I'm quite worried about a friend of mine on that front. His nephew died accidentally this past weekend. I've seen loads of parents go on to live after the death of a child (by-product of growing up in the pediatric ward) and that's hard enough. But most weren't necessarily tied to an event in time...

Anyway, I seriously don't want to bring anyone even further down. So I'll just he and his loved ones find strenght in each other. It's a terrible experience, but one that people do survive somehow.

Sunny, it was the worst time for me and for 5 or 6 years I never celebrated XMAS because of this. But anyway I'm past that now and being a family man I do look forward to XMAS these days. Memories will never erase but it does get a lot better over time which is what happened to me

My sleep is all out of what, which depresses me, which means I sleep even more. I know I should change things, on how I approach it, but I'm not good at figuring that out, no matter what advice I'm given.
