Well, like I said, it's the work of my life, so I'm in no rush.

I used to be depressed a lot. I once scared my mother (not on purpose) by staying in my room, not talking to anyone for 3 days. She was awesome about it, and gave me my space. I hate that I worried her like that. I found that the biggest reason for my feeling like I was worthless was my passive aggressive boss, who constantly belittled me, and undermined me at every opportunity. I switched jobs, and shifts, (now I work midnight shift) and everyone noticed the change in my attitude. I am so much happier than I've ever been.
I know that my feeling crummy isn't clinical depression, but I wanted to share, if that's ok. thanks. __________________

Patience is definitely important, Sunny. There is no rush, because it's never ending, and it is something that you can progress in at times.
m&m fkan, of course it's okay! Talk to us any time you want to or need to. I'm so glad you got away from your boss. That is wonderful. No one has the right to treat you the way they did. Whether it's clinical depression, or not, being depressed is being depressed. It helps me to be able to talk here, and hopefully it's helping you, too. __________________
