Hi Hope all of you in the USA will have a pleasant Thanksgiving Day.

What are your plans or what did you do on Thanksgiving??? What do you usually eat on Thanksgiving??? I know not everyone eats turkey....some eat ham, Mexican, Italian, Greek, or whatever their nationality their family enjoys to eat when family gets together!!!

For me, it was me, my husband and two adult kids. nice and quiet.

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!

Be careful & safe if you’re doing any Black Friday shopping! I have to work a 4-hour shift!

We had a Blessed Thanksgiving Day. Was the four of us. My hubby and 2 adult kids. Had turkey, gravy, dressing, baked potatoes, rolls, string beans, corn, peas, raspberry jello with raspberries and two kinds of pie: pumpkin and pecan.

We ate at 3 PM and had left overs around 8 PM. I usually use a small-medium plate to avoid over eating.

Merry/Blessed Christmas Celebration to all!!! How do you celebrate??? Do you and your family have traditions??? Did you start new ones after getting married or moving away from family and not able to go "home" for Christmas.

I made it to church worship service on Sunday morning...24th of December, 2017. Was ready to attend evening candle light and carols when it began to snow heavily and stayed home. Live in Seattle, Washington USA. It is very hilly and we usually have wet snow!!! Most people don't know how to drive in the snow in Seattle. It doesn't snow that often and stay around for 12 or more hours. One year we had snow for 3 weeks!!!

We have odd traditions we don't do the normal gift exchange anymore, but the kids still get a visit from Santa and plenty of presents. The adults draw names and set a theme or price limit, this takes away the stress of shopping for a lot of people and there is no strain on budget.

Christmas morning, starts with a prayer by the tree and the kids have a free for all, then we have monkey bread

I found this website https://www.gty.org quite helpful when I was a beginner. Within, there are blogs, daily devotionals, sermons for every Bible verse of the NT, and many other resources, including Bible study guides. Hope this helps. God's peace be with you throughout your search and beyond.
