The only Canadian thing I did on Canada Day was eat poutine. But it was from McDonalds so it was subpar, although the cheese curds did squeak rather satisfactorily!

the main problem with McDonald's poutine: the fries are too thin.

Oh, me neither. It's the melted cheese. Which is ironic, because it's the only cheese I really like when it's on its own. But there's just too much going on in a poutine. Give me fries. Give me fries with sauce. But that's where it ends.

It's far from healthy but it's nice to eat a Poutine once in a while...
