Practise what you want to say ... or just put in one short sentence. He shouldn't criticise you, as you're not doing anything that needs to be criticised on.

see, i practice, and then i get to the point, and i clam up completely

i'm 5"10 and he makes me look short, the first thing my mum said to him was "geez, you're tall"

he's like "dont i even get a hello first"
