I don't know why anyone would do that. Like, if you're going to pull your work, at least give people the opportunity to understand why.

I think it's sad when people pull down their work without notice. Like if you're gonna try to make an original fic out of it, fine, but leave a note explaining that. If it's because of plagiarism, fair enough, again leave a note.

Speaking of our fav fics I was just watching Greek and 2 of the main characters are doing the college level of "should we stay together" that Troy and Gabriella are doing in the Someday trilogy. And it dawned on me as I watched this particular couple break up for the upteenth time that compromising your own desires/ambitions for the love of another will always be an issue. It never gets easier. In fact it gets more difficult. Dani, I don't know how your trilogy will end but when it does know that you've touched on an aspect of growing up that is basically universal. I hope that you always do that with your writing whether its in this fandom or not. Life happens and moves on all too quickly. A lot of times 2 people have to want to be on the same page. This in not a request for an update just letting you know that sometimes things come up and make me think about this particular story. I have a question for you & you don't have to answer if its too spoilery. If you were Gabriella what would your choice be

I'll ask that of all you guys here on the fandom. What would you do?

Ayesha - can I answer that again like, WAY in the future? I just... I feel like... I feel like I can't discuss this issue WITHOUT alluding to my fanfic, you know? This fanfic has been a part of me for so long that tbh I think so much of me is in it and it's personal - not in the context of having been there but in terms of my morals and views and passions infiltrating through.

Basically it was from someone who didn't like HSM before reading my fic, but they'd seen Vanessa pictures that sort of made them wind up checking out HSM fanfiction and after reading my fanfic they went and bought HSM1, 2 and 3 and now they love them. I converted them
