TFTNT Ron.

somrak 12-26-2011 09:26 AM

TFTNT, Ron! :)

Ron_Beckett 12-26-2011 09:49 AM

Welcome you guys! :)

destroyer of worlds 12-26-2011 10:30 AM

So guys, any plans for NYE? :D

I'll be spending it with friends ... hopefully not drinking TOO much. :goof: And I *cough* just bought a house today. :thud: It's a huge thing to commit to, so hopefully everything goes smoothly and all. :D NGL though, I'm already thinking how to decorate it and getting excited. :yay:

Ron_Beckett 12-26-2011 10:47 AM

Doing our yearly camping trip. My doc has okayed it :)

Congrats on the house you bought Sarah!

Oh and you guys, I just might be getting a future brother-in-law. My sister's boyfriend gave her a promise ring on Christmas Eve. She says that it doesn't mean anything and that it won't happen for a very long time but still a promise ring is a big commitment and of itself so it's a big deal.

ForbiddenღFruit 12-26-2011 09:15 PM

Ron, that's great news about the promise ring! Congrats to your sister :D

Sarah, I don't have plans yet...can't go out and legally drink yet but there's always the possibility that someone who is 21+ will throw a party

Great that you'll be spending it with friends. :bunny:

Oh, congrats on a house, BB! :D

Ron, that's nice to hear about your sister and her boyfriend. :)

I always forget that you have to be 21+ to legally drink in your country. In my country you have to be 18+. But it doesn't matter since I don't drink. :goof:

Ron_Beckett 12-27-2011 07:02 AM

So how goes it everyone?

So far so good on my end. I love just chillin' and relaxing.

destroyer of worlds 12-27-2011 09:18 AM

Thanks guys.

Ron, congrats on the possible future brother-in-law. :D And ooh, a camping trip sounds nice so hope you'll have a blast. :)

Nice. Hope you have a good time, Kim, regardless of where you end up spending it. :D

In my country, it's 18 too. :) I didn't start until I was 25 though, was a really late bloomer in that sense. :goof:

Well, I think that's great. :P Though I'm not planning to drink now neither in the future. :nono:

destroyer of worlds 12-27-2011 10:38 AM

Yeah ... drinking too much isn't too cool, especially as you get older. It's my belated b-day celebration though, so I guess I'm pretty much screwed. Eh, at least I'll be staying at that place that night and NOT driving home. ;)

Ron_Beckett 12-27-2011 10:57 AM

Yeah camping is gonna be great. I always look forward to our end of the year/New Years' trip.

I still have to be careful, my stitches come out tomorrow, but still the doc said I could go so that makes me happy.

Good that you'll be staying at that place BB. Have a lot of fun!

It's great that you'll be able to go camping, Ron. :)

Finally watched One Day before and spent an hour crying after it.  Such a beautiful movie and Anne Hathaway&Jim Sturgess.

Ron_Beckett 12-27-2011 03:20 PM

I still have yet to see that movie, 'One Day'. It seems really good though.

And yeah, I'm excited about the potential brother-in-law. I know it won't be for a very long time but still a promise ring is one step closer to an engagement so that's nice. I do like the guy, he's 5 years older than my sister but he seems good for her. And she always smiles and blushes whenever she talks about him.

It was nice to spend Christmas with him. He ended up getting something for my parents and myself. For me he got me a Star Wars shirt. We got him things too, I even got a present for his dog.

destroyer of worlds 12-28-2011 02:13 AM

Awh I really should watch One Day soon, since I have a bit more time lately. :) I did watch Easy A last night and freaking LOVED it. Emma Stone is amazing, I loved her in the movie. It's such a smart chick-flick movie (especially compared to all the brainless, bad ones out there) and it was genuinely funny and heartwarming. :D An A for Easy A. /lame. :rotfl:

I'm stuck at home for now :pout: i.e. I can't go to gym at least, which bums me out. Just found out my big toe is infected so I had to have the toenail removed :goof: which wasn't fun. It's going to take ages to grow back, and in the meantime I'm going to freak everyone out in my toenail-less state. :lmao:

somrak 12-28-2011 03:17 AM

Aw, that's so nice if they're so in love, Ron.

Yeah, you should both watch One Day, it's a great love story , but yeah, you can't really fail with a romantic drama for me.
The only thing I didn't like was Anne's English accent. :goof:

You watched it only now, BB??! :spank: I've seen it quite a few times and it's perfect. :rotfl: And Emma Stone is brilliant.

OMG, the 2nd half of your post just made me shiver. I can't read such stuff. :goof: It always reminds me about my 2 operations when I had that ingrown toenail and it was both time unsuccessful. :blank: And now my toenail is smaller on that foot. :blank:
Poor you, I don't even want to imagine how painful it was. Hopefully you'll be able to do a normal stuff soon.

If I'll finish with everything what I have for today I might re-watch The Notebook with my sister or I Don't Know How She Does It. :)

Ron_Beckett 12-28-2011 07:25 AM

My stitches come out today :woot:

Other than that don't know what my plans will be.

destroyer of worlds 12-29-2011 12:57 AM

Yay for the stitches coming off, Ron. :D Bet it felt like forever, right?

Yeah, I'm a sucker for romantic dramas too  but there's so few good ones out there, TBH. Have you watched Definitely, Maybe and The Proposal? Those are among the few good ones. :D

Ow. :lmao: My sister has been asking me to watch it but I only finally got around to watching it this week. It's really, REALLY good and I was laughing through half of the movie. :D And Emma was definitely impressive in the movie.

Yikes, that sounds painful too BB. I was quite freaked out, especially since I went to the doctor's alone and all ... I got a few injections to numb the pain (yay ;) ... the injections hurt like whoa as well :goof: ) but it still hurt. And it's still bleeding occasionally and it's just not cool to look at, so I'm really hoping it heals ASAP. :)

somrak 12-29-2011 02:34 AM

Nice that you're stitches are out, Ron. :)

I have many romantic dramas that I love. :goof:
I watched both, yes. Ryan Reynolds. The Proposal I've seen like 5 times. :goof:  The end. Ramone. When he's asked about some numbers. :lmao:
I've seen Definitely, Maybe like a year or more ago. It's the one with Abigail Breslin and Rachel Weisz and Isla Fisher , right?

I know. I laughed through the whole movie. Her parents were so awesome and I loved Stanley Tucci. And woodchuck Todd cracks me up every time. :rotfl:

It was. Especially injections hurt like hell.

Awww you went alone? :( Sorry that it's still bleedin ocasionally. I really hope it'll heal soon. Very soon.
And what happened that your toenail get infected?

Ron_Beckett 12-29-2011 07:02 AM

Yeah I'm glad the stitches came out. Though I'm still wearing the surgical shoe for two more weeks and I have to have some gauze placed a certain way but other than that it's all good.

I love romantic dramas. I'm such a sucker for them. I could watch The Proposal all the time. It's one of my faves.

Yup it is. :D I only liked Isla Fisher's character, out of all the girls.

Her parents are legit-ly insane  but so hillarious. And Penn was so adorable as Todd, I wanted to see more of him. :D I loved the scene where she fakes doing it with the Brandon guy and smacks him whenever he said anything too inappropriate. Hee. :lmao:

They do. It sucks, and though it did numb the pain, the injections I got REALLY hurt. :goof:

Yeah, my mum felt bad but it really wasn't her fault I went alone. She had to go out and I didn't think it would be so bad that I had to remove it so I went by myself. Thanks BB  ... I don't even know exactly how I hurt it but I did bang that toe a couple of times before so I guess that was how. Serves me right for ignoring it all along, I could have seen it coming earlier on. ;)

Sucks but I'm still going out for NYE dammit. Just have to remember to bandage it up before I freak more people out. :lmao:

Ron, The Proposal is a really good movie. Sandra/Ryan have such great chemistry together and good comedic timing. :D And of course, Betty White was awesome as always.

We've had so much fun, and so many wonderful, memorable moments with each other.

Here's to a great year ahead! Cheers to a 2012 filled with friendships, to laughter, to support,

Nice GIFs, Ems. Thanks for sharing BB.

Hope everyone had a good NY. :D Mine was thankfully not too wild, had a great time with friends and just chilling the night away in the city. Saw pretty fireworks too, which is always a plus. :)

Now to get back to reality since work starts in two days. :bawl:

Yeah, I only liked Isla's character too and I just love Isla.

OMG, that "sex" scene with a Brandon guy. :lmao:

Awww, yeah, if you bang that toe before ... that could be a reason why it got infected. :(

LOL, did anyone get freaked out because of your toenail then?

Ems, the gifs are awesome and thanks for all the lovely wishes!

I hope everyone had a great night yesterday. :)

Sar, glad that you had a great time. :D

I was spending the evening/night with my computer :goof: and dogs that were so scared of the fireworks and those stupid loud noises from outside. :blank:

Later almost at midnight I watched a movie with my mum and went to sleep around 3 am. :look:

I'm back at school in 2 days as well. :pout:
