mte Sheils, the 1st book set them up as OTP, so what would've been the point if the ending didn't live up to that?

They didn't


She said she had a hard time writing for Jacob bc she knew the outcome. Plus Bella says in Eclipse that realizing her feelings was prolonged bc she knew it'd make no difference anyway.

That's exactly it, EB were established as the IT couple from day one and it wouldn't have justified all the effort put into making it work if they hadn't had ended up together.

i love jacob too, but it was always B+E since the very begining. Thats it. Liking or not thats what it is for the story be a good love story
