I like what Sheils said, because it's pretty close to the thing I like most about him. By all appearances, he's just Rob. He doesn't think of himself as "Rob Pattinson, superstar," but just Robert Pattinson. No more or no less. He seems to really believe that he is just an average guy living an extraordinary life.

and he's not going to try to be somebody he's not. He's just Rob. The end. He could have buffed up for New Moon or Eclipse a bit after he saw Tay's abs

But he didn't. why should he? He's him. the end.

It's probably why people feel that he is so approachable too. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd ever snap at or say no to a fan. And he almost seems like he feels bad when he has to say no, like when a 9-year old asks him to bite her. But he tries to make those situations funny so no one's feelings get hurt.
