Charlie.... he's soooo great with his love for Bella, he might not show it at the beginning, but he loves her so much.

I'd be happy with a mention every now and then (like - he goes to dinner with with ??? etc) A whole major plotline devoted to that would go a bit overboard - not to downplay his character, he's important, but he's not the main focus of the books. I'd love to see him with a girlfriend though. __________________

Hmm. I haven't seen anyone so far who would suit the part. So it might be a new character.
Or maybe there's someone in Eclipse? I haven't read it yet. |

I love Charlie! But I'm not sure he needs a girlfriend. It just doesn't seem...in his character. Hmm.
My heart broke while reading Twilight, the part where Bella tells him she can't stand Forks.  Seriously, I cried during that part, and imagining how hurt Charlie must have felt. SM sure does know how to bring the tears in these books. *sigh*__________________

I love Charlie so far in Twilight he isn't quite sure what to do at first as he is not used to having Bella there. But I think he is sweet and he loves his daughter. Shows concern for her when she doesn't seem to socialise that much.

Bella does seem to have inherited a lot of Charlie's personality
And that's probably one of the reasons why he's a bit worried about her not socializing much, he wants her to have fun and maybe that's because he missed that in his youth __________________
