Soooooo...anyone started the countdown to part 2 yet?

I was talking to a friend yesterday and she was saying how even if there was no part 2 to BD she could absolutely be satisfied with part 1...and after I thought about it, I really agree with her. It very much felt like the wrapping up of a story, and in many ways it is - it's the end of Bella's human existence, and the end of the Bella that we all know. The essence of her will remain, but I fully expect vampBella to be so much different to the way Kristen played humanBella.

I could be satisifed with pt 1 being the end, but I'm DYING to see vampBella...and mamaBella...and Edward with his lovely daughter and knockout vampire wife. I hope we get happyWard since he pretty much has everything he could ever want at this point.

The mood around here is definitely going to be weird during promo/premiere time for BD2. It's the end and it's really going to be so bittersweet. I can't even think about that yet, though.

Wow I must say tok me three threads to find the open discussion thread !!

I saw the movie first time today Not superfan but since movie one on Showtime i fell for the series . mind you I watch follow lots of Entertainment news and get EW magazine so I was prepared . I never read any spoilers .

to me the intense parts where the battle of the wolves and vampires . I was on the edge not knowing if one of the cullins might get killed or Jacobs brothers might die .

the whole wedding i felt was too short , i liked it how jacob was able to come to understand there love but freaked out learning Bela wasn't going to be turned .

Anyway my only issue, all of us knew she was not going to die well she was but return as a vampire waiting and waiting and waiting . to over dramatic for me ...

I enjoyed the film and look forward to final chapter like i did with HarryPotter

Aww, so so glad you liked it I think that's the consensus with pretty much everyone, and it's SO NICE I enjoy all of the movies, but this is the first one that I feel like I could HAPPILY watch over and over and over again.

I'm glad you enjoyed the film. I'm definitely curious as to what note the Saga ends on...I really hope part 2 does justice to the entire love story between EB and such (I'm not going to say "does justice to the book" because imo the book was a hot mess ).

My friend has never seen any of the Twilight movies and I convinced him to do a Twi movie marathon with me...the first 3 at home and then we'll hit the theater for BD
