new to the board. Just wondering who was born in the 80's and what was one of their favourite tv show's, music group, movie, and/or memory?

Me, I was born in 1980, loved He-Man, not really sure who i like in music, favourite movie back then was Superman...

What about everyone else?

I wasn't born in the 80's, but I grew up in the 80's. Great decade, it was.

One of my fave tv shows was Parker Louis Can't Lose. I think it lasted 2 or 3 seasons. Corin Nemec was on it. Just a cool and quirky show.

Duran Duran - they were, and still are, the bomb!

My favorite movie was Excalibur. Patrick Stewart, Liam Neeson, and Gabriel Byrne were in it.

Two of my favourite shows are "The Wonder Years" and "Who's The Boss"


And I ADORE 80's music and movies so it would be criminal to try and tell you my favourites as there are tooooo many!!!!

I was born October 1986. I was only around for 4 years of the 80's and I was little so I liked My little pony, care bears, rainbow brite nd ponytails on the side of my head lol

Hello all.... new to the board as well.

Man, I was born in 1981, so I didn't get to "grow up" in the 80's, but man, for as long as I can remember, there's just something about the decade that makes me love it. I think it had to be the movies and music.

All of John Hughes' stuff is great, Robert Downey, Jr. movies, but the music, man, the music is what did it. Flock Of Seagulls, The Clash, The Church, A-Ha, Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper, The Fixx... I could go on but I won't.

I want to say we all like the 80's because it was a time where the future was so bright, where the economy wasn't so harsh, where there weren't any terrible wars and Reagan was kiccking ass, but I won't. I think it has more to do with the general attitude, and the freedom a lot of us got to experience.... the 80's were awesome!

So, remember, love your neighbor... and watch La Bamba!

i loved the flintstones, jetsons, smurfs, thundercats, fraggle rock, mickey mouse club, kids incorporated, full house, who's the boss , the cosby show , the wonder years and more

I wasn't born in the 1980's. I was born in October 1978.
The 1980's were so great!
I loved (and still do) Mickey Mouse and Family Ties.
I also loved Growing Pains, Punky Brewster, Full House, Who's The Boss?, Carebears, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Ponies, The Jetsons, The Flinstones, Muppet Babies, Pound Puppies, Fraggle Rock, The Smurfs, She-Ra, Play Doh, Etch A Sketch, Light Brite, Legos, Barbies, and so much more!
I loved the Judy Blume and Nancy Drew series.
My favorite movie was ET(It's still my favorite movie).
The 1990's and 2000's just can't hold a torch up to the 1980's.
