I miss it a little. I mean, listening to Whitesnake, Dokken, Def Leppard, Winger, etc...it was part of my metal/british new wave listening experience. I know that Winger had a new album a while back, but other than that, I can't think of any other hair metal band that is still going strong out there.

Poor Winger. Once the 90s rolled around, that band was used as the poster child for everything wrong.

It maybe sad for most, but you're talking to someone who goes by the tune of her own drummer. 2 million people could tell me Winger was a mistake and all I would do is basically walk away and say to myself "I guess there are 2 million people who don't deserve to know me." I'm a Winger fan thru and thru and the one thing most don't realize is that Kip is one of the most amazing music arrangers around. "Rainbow in the Rose" is a masterpiece. They can say whatever they want about Winger, but that won't stop me from liking them.

Besides, I'm one who tries to stay away from the popular...at least these days, I'm in the music obscurity. It's fun there. Lots of great music there for my soul and me.

The quiet one has finished her passionate rant of sorts for the day. Time for some shut eye.

Winger sucked in the 90s and became an insult to the genre they helped sculpt the 80s. "Pull" was a mistake.
