Me and my boyfriend went to Best buy today and bought season 2-7 for only 15 bucks a piece. It was a pretty good deal since they are originally sold 30 bucks a piece. Now we just need to wait for the other seasons to own the whole series.

I loved this show. I was really into it big time.
The first time I saw it was in the late 80's. 2nd or 3rd season. Somewhere around there. Anywho, I couldn't believe what I was seeing the first time I saw it!. Lol. I hadn't seen anything like it!. I was raised on all the more wholesome family shows of the 80's and reruns of older shows. My jaw dropped when I saw and heard some of the things they were doing and saying. I knew that I was a fan and watcher from that moment!. Christina Applegate was probably my first real big TV crush. When I was even younger, I liked Kari Michaelsen on Gimme A Break, but it was nothing compared to Christina. Just WOW!. She recently announced that she has breast cancer, but that it was very early and that she will make a complete and full recovery. |

Haha!
Yeah, this was definitely not the typical family sitcom. My parents sometimes let me watch it, but they assumed that I wouldn't understand most of it. I'm glad that Christina will recover. I have lost friends and family to breast cancer, and that is sad. __________________

I need to start watching all the seasons I got. My brother and dad was into this show too. My dad actually has really old tapes of when it first aired on tv recorded.

My good friend got me into this show last year because my mom and dad wouldn't let me watch it when I was a kid. I am so appreciative of him. I now own Al's football jersey (bright blue Polk High 33) and proudly wear it about town.
The day I realized it was the funniest show ever, was when I realized that Al actually has the worst life possible for a middle-aged man. He is the most unhappy person in the world, and I can't help but laugh at his misfortune. No exaggeration, when i figured out how sad he was I literally fell off the seat laughing. I would do anything for a Reunion episode. In fact, maybe I'll break into the Television industry just to get the ball rolling. That would be so funny. Imagine an aged Grandpa Bundy. An unmarried Bud, a pregnant Kelly and an even lazier Peg. I'm laughing while typing this! |
