I watched the first episode last night. Tom was a charming guy. A friend of his was beat up and killed and they found bags of cocaine inside his body.

Me too. I need to see the next to see how it turns out.

I found a Magnum web site. The guy running it questioned why we/he loves the show. Didn't have great things to say about the 80s or event his, his favorite show. He said he thinks most 80s shows are completely unwatchable today.
