I watched the first one but I haven't gotten to the second one yet. I have really liked what I have seen. It looked good and I liked seeing the return of the two. It was touching, nostalgic, humorous and fun. The nostalgia was there but it wasn't in your face either. I thought it was well done.

One of the best things I loved about the pilot was the music. We had two scenes with Johnny taking off and driving in his classic firebird on the streets of L.A. The first was to the music of Poison and the second time to Foreigner. That got me in the feels. Lol. I loved how they had quite a few flashback scenes as well. I was just pleased.

Also, the opening of the show showing the climax of the original movie reminded me that it took place on December 19. My birthday!
