"Hunter" was a cop/crime series about tough, and often rule breaking, homicide detective Rick Hunter and his partner, Dee Dee McCall.

The show premiered in 1984 and ran for 7 seasons and 153 episodes. A reunion movie followed in 1995 and 2002. The show returned for a short lived stay with only 5 episodes in 2003.

I watched the first episode last night. Joanna Kerns was in it. She was a therapist who, unknowingly, was treating a man who was a murderer of blue eyed blondes. She was his next target but Hunter and McCall trapped him.

It doesn't appear to be airing on TV here in the states. I watch it on Tubi. It's an app that is part of my new cable hook up. They have all 7 seasons on there.

never heard of that app before. but that is great your able to watch all 7 seasons. its a great show

It is. I didn't pay as much attention to it when I was little as it was on late and I didn't get to see it much.

It was. 84 to 91. Sledge was on 86 to 88.

Did you know they had a short lived revival series in 2003?

A second TV movie they had in 2002 was so successful they decided to return as a series. They had a new 2 hour movie that served as the pilot and then 5 more 1 hour episodes although only 3 aired. Fred Dryer said that budget constraints and creative differences were the problem with the revival.
