Totally!. It's ridiculous. It's like, do you really have nothing to do?/

Jenny - If only. Kids today don't know how good it used to be and are missing out.

I know I remember in the 80s trick or treating as a kid. I had pillow cases full of candy and went all over town with my mom and sister. We loved it.

Me and my sister started using a pillow case when we turned 8 and 10. I remember how decorated the whole neighborhood was and there was so many kids. Like you said Barry, now a days, it isnt the same. We still get kids but like as many from what I remembered as a kid.

My mom thought that I didn't need all that candy, so I usually had a plastic pumpkin. lol

It also depends on the neighborhood. Some neighborhoods don't have that many kids, so there won't be many trick-or-treaters. We don't have kids around here. People who grew up here usually bring their kids back here. That's the only way we get kids here.

Thats true, I believe all the kids that use to live around my parents have all grown up and moved on. I dont see trick or treaters where I live, then again I live in a apartment so that could be why

I had a plastic pumpkin too!!. Lol. I think one year I had one from McDonalds that the happy meal came in. Lol.

Also, there are lots of malls who do trick or treating and other places for kids, and that keeps a lot of them off the street. At least they do here. To me, walking around the mall to the stores for candy is just not the same.

It's fun to hear everyone's Halloween stories.

Just for fun, I bought a plastic pumpkin from Wal-Mart. I'm going to put candy in it and put it on my desk. Good kids may get a treat!

I agree about the malls. That doesn't sound fun. It sounds like it would be safe, though.

What did everyone dress up as when they were little?

Again, great teacher.

Yes, the malls would be a lot safer, but the fun of trick or treating is being outside at night running around the neighborhood!. Lol.

When I was real little, I dressed as an alien once. There was a rubber head that had to be blown up like a innertube. Lol. It was funny. I think I was Dracula once. I was Freddy Krueger once too. Can't remember what else.

Thanks. My kids probably don't agree. Most of my kids are not well-behaved. I only treet the ones who are good.

That's right. My neighborhood is pretty safe, so I've never had problems.

That sounds like a cute costume.

Lol.

My neighborhood is safe too, except my street is kinda busy. Most probably don't come down as far as my street. They stay behind me and up.

Jenny - Sounds fun. I like the slimy pumpkin guts!!. Lol.
