Mike got in trouble for coming home past his curfew. He lied and said that there was a burning building. He was late because he had to help out. Of course, Maggie and Jason grounded him for his constant lying.

Maggie and Jason were going away to a psychiatric convention. When Maggie was called into work, she lied about having to go to Atlantic City for a wedding. Mike overheard the lie. He didn't think it was fair that his mom was allowed to lie.

Maggie grounded herself and stayed home instead of going to Atlantic City. Carol went instead of Maggie.
