Thread #5 for the 1984 classic. Billy Peltzer gets a strange new pet for Christmas. The new pet, who he names Gizmo, comes with some peculiar instructions. When Billy doesn't follow them, he unleashes scaly monsters who wreak havoc on the town.

The movie stars Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Judge Reinhold, Corey Feldman, Polly Holliday and Dick Miller. It was directed by Joe Dante.
