The first one 'premired' last week and was decent. You can tell how it was inspired/references Scream a lot. It was a good nostalgia trip for me being a fan of the books. I'm hoping to watch the second one this weekend.

I hope you enjoy the second one.

The second one was decent too. I saw a lot of references to Friday the 13th and another camp based slasher films. I liked the first one a bit more than the second but it had its moments too. Third and last one comes out this weekend and I'm curious how they'll wrap up things.

I think it is cool because I read that the second one at the camp was filmed at the same camp where they filmed 'Jason Lives'.

I didn't know that about the second one, very cool!
The third one was released last weekend. It was a good wrap up to things and probably one I liked best. I think they honored the spirit of the books well.

I see a lot of people on Twitter going after Netflix telling them to release these movies on physical media.

I can see why people would want that to happen. I personally don't need them to but I can see the appeal for added nostalgia factors.

I don't have Netflix so it would be the only way that I can see them. I still collect physical media. It means everything to me.

The thread was mainly made for the books which began in 1989 but can include anything in the franchise.

I got the first four books. They came in one volume so it doesn't have the cool original cover art like I wanted.
