Jack Burton Kim Cattrall... Gracie Law Dennis Dun... Wang Chi James Hong... David Lo Pan Victor Wong... Egg Shen Kate Burton... Margo Donald Li... Eddie Lee Carter Wong... Thunder Peter Kwong... Jack Burton: Yes, I thought that was your whole Damn Point! Jack Burton: Ahh, You know what ol' Jack Burton says at a time like this? Thunder: Who? Jack Burton: Jack Burton...me! Lo Pan: ... my curse will be lifted! Jack Burton: You can go off and rule the Universe from beyond the grave. Lo Pan: Indeed! Jack Burton: ... or check into a psycho ward, whichever comes first, huh? Jack Burton: Son of a bitch must pay! Jack Burton: Its all in the reflexes. Jack Burton: Are you crazy? Is that your problem? Jack Burton: Lo Pan? Which Lo Pan? Little old basket case on wheels, or the ten foot tall roadblock? -------- Didn't see a thread for this, thought I'd make one. This is the movie my brother watched a dozen times on TV and a over Hundred on DVD once he bought it and quoted it until I wanted to send him to "the hell of the upside down sinners!". Big Trouble in Little China is truly a Hillarious and action-packed B-Movie, that makes a reference to everything it possibly can within its scope without insulting it. I am also rather late in realizing that Kurt Russell was emulating John Wayne with his Jack Burton character (at least that explains his accent). Truely one of the great cult-films of the 80's. My favorite part?: Jack Burton gets gun-ho with his Uzi, makes a battle cry, fires it, and gets K.O.'ed by the debris of the ceiling. Anybody else enjoy this flick? |
Oh that was a good movie! Its been awhile since I have seen it though so Im alittle rusty on some stuff.
I love this movie. I need to pick this one up on DVD!.
John Carpenter and Kurt Russell need to make another movie together. |

A sequel or an original film, either way I'd be there!.
Such a fun, bizarre, entertaining movie. I love how Kurt Russell does a heroic John Wayne type impression.
Such a fun movie. Has a cult following, but still too underrated.
Some of the underrated movies are the best ones.
That's true.
Was watching this movie all week, I still love it
Yeah, it's a fun one!
I'll add it to the list.
The ever growing one. Lol.
This looks like it would be good but not something I would have watched when I was younger.
It's awesome. I mean, it's just a funky, only in the 80s kind of movie. Martial arts, mystical powers, humor. It's wild. Kurt was great in it. A very underrated movie.
