Oh, I liked reading that. It gave me a good history about these movies. I didn't know Wes Craven had trouble getting Nightmare made.

Love this! These were probably the first horror movies I saw. (Well, other than the few I sneaked and watched. lol)

Yes, it was quite unheard of for 3 horror sequels to gross more than the one that came before it.
