Forget Pete and Sam, I ship Addie with a baby. I almost died from the cuteness of her taking care of baby Lucas. KW is so freaking cute with a baby. I should have known Pete would have said Violet's name. Of course, Violet had to ruin everything and she wasn't even in the episode.

Sam coming over to see about Addie was sweet.

The rest was pretty meh.

It's not Violet's fault that Pete still loves her. Addie *knew* going into this thing with him that he was not over Violet.

I actually really liked this episode..

Idont care about Naomi at all.. especially with Fife I care even less!
I get that she is upset with Addie and Sam but she didnt even listen!

I KNEW! I knew that Pete was gonna say that; yes I feel bad for Addy, but actually I dont, now she knows he doesnt really care in that way about her, and she doesnt either.. Sam is the guy for her... It was so cute when he stepped by..

And I agree, addy with lucas was a-dorable... and I love love love her with the cat, its so funny: 'go away milo, believe me, you dont wanna catch this' awww hahaha so funny!

glad dell is back and he did such a good job!

and charlotte and cooper need to get over themselves and get back together, even a blind person can see that

Pretty much. It sucks that he said that after the day she had, but did anyone really not see this coming? Pete was very honest with his feelings regarding Violet. I ain't too made at Pete. It isn't like he lied or anything. And this definitely isn't Violet's fault. But still, I felt sorta bad for Addison. It is like she has nothing right now. Naomi is mad at her, Sam is trying to distance himself from her, and Pete subconsciously wishes she was Violet.

Addison is having the best week ever!

Sam is not trying to distance himself from her.. he wants to be with her, but she doesnt, or cant because she doesnt want to hurt Naomi... Addy knew this, being with Pete and Lucas is her comfort, but she is in love with Sam.. she just wants to be in love with Pete, because its 'easier'

But he is trying to distance himself. He told her not to use him as a sounding board for her Pete/Lucas family issues. He went to see her because she was sick, but realized he was falling right back into that pattern and left because he was uncomfortable again. He wants to be there for her, but he just can't be that guy. Good for him for refusing it as well. Addison isn't meaning to be insensitive, but she is being that way regarding Sam with Pete (and Lucas.)

And yes he wants her. There is no doubt in that. And yes he would be with her in a heartbeat if she said the word. But she isn't and he can't let himself constantly be there for her to lean on. So he continues with Vanessa even though he clearly isn't all there with her. I feel like he needs someone else to distract him or he will just be thinking about all the "what ifs" with Addison.

Vanessa is a nice person. He likes her. I don't blame him for at least trying to see if it works out. Because even if it doesn't he can say he tried. Though none of them will truly move on till they REALLY talk about it. This avoidance nonsense just makes it worse.

Thank you shonda for once again making Addison second best. Did I see this coming? Of course I did. Everyone who knows that shonda rhimes uses Addison as her personal punching bag, knows that Addison is unhappy at EVERY ENDING OF AN FREAKING EPISODE!!!! I am mad. Shonda may be a good writer for everyhting else she does but with Addison she really makes no exception in making her unhappy. IF Addison is just turning to be a LITTLE happy.. we KNOW that it gets destroyed in the next episode

and can I just say I hate violet? She ruined the freaking episode without being in it

and Pete.. really???? You love a woman who is out touching freaking monkeys to heal herself and the person that takes care of YOUR And HER baby, who catches a cold because she wants to be freaking there for you.. that one you accidently hurt by blurring out a woman that doesnt even care? A woman that runs off for weeks months.. I honestly dont know how long she has been in the rain forrest or wherever the hell she is. one question is WHY? Honestly.. even before all the bunch of crap and baby out of belly cutting.. I never really saw something that made him fall in love with violet.. first it was sex and then all of a sudden it was love without any building up to it because violet had sex wiht two people at the same time.. there was no dating.. there was no taking care of him during a freaking cold.. there was no bystanding during difficult situations... there was no movie or cocktail nights there wasnt even coming over to share a pizza .. but yeah... of course there was love... I dont buy it shonda, I really dont

And Addison.. who is clearly still in love wiht sam.. but she IS there for Pete,. she took freaking care of him and his baby, she cared for him and he says violets name although she has been gone for months? wow way to make this sucky shonda.

if Addison stays with him (and dont tell me that they both know about their feelings) THEY WERE SAYING THEY GIVE IT A REAL TRY then I dont understand her.

I just hope that next week he will tell violet off and that the "I love you" was just because he drank too much cough medicne

I yelled at the tv when I watched that scene. As soon as Pete mentioned that his head was fuzzy from the fever I KNEW something bad was going to happen and then of course he opened his mouth and ruined his relationship with Addison with just 4 words. And yes once again Addison had to be second best. Will that ever stop? At least Sam still has feelings for her, thank god.

I don't get that at all. Maybe Pete is a glutton for punishment or something because Violet has let him down time and time again and hasn't really been there for him in the way Addison has and yet he is supposed to be in love with Violet? I don't get that at all.

That really ruined the cuteness that was going on before he uttered those stupid words. And we all know Addison still has feeling for Sam but with her fever and cold she wasn't calling Pete Sam so yeah.

Addison better not stay with him after that.

Not to make excuses for Violet, but she did go through a very, very traumatic experience that has forever changed her. Maybe Shonda and the writer's are simply showing how something like that can really affect a person, even someone who is a psychiatrist no less but still a human being. From the previews for next week, Violet returns, and maybe after being away for so long, she is ready to bond with her son. As for Pete, we shall see if this becomes a triangle.

I think Naomi should not talk to Addy or Sam until she has calmed enough to actually listen. If she would have talked to Addy while she was so angry, feeling betrayed, she would have lashed out at her best friend and said things she would not be able to take back. I think its good that she just stayed away for now. They can't go on this way forever, this isn't high school, so I think they will have a hard conversation very soon. If Shonda decides to eventually put Addy and Sam together, I hope they are endgame or she will have ruined Addy and Naomi's friendship for nothing. Their friendship will not be the same, since we see that Naomi is NOT ok with Addy being with Sam.

Loved Dell in this episode. and I loved how Charlotte gave him that tough love speech, hilarious!

And they are. Theem trying though doesn't take away the fact that THEY LOVE OTHER PEOPLE. That isn't just going to miraculously disappear because they decided to try dating each other. They knew this could happen and really Addison shouldn't be shocked. It sucks, but lets be realistic here.

Also,

Pretty much yeah he does. Why? See above. Love aint pretty and can make you stupid, But lets not forget Violet went through some crazy stuff. It isn't like she had Lucas and then bounced. That's not the case.

I literally stood up out of my chair and walked away. I was so mad It was such a perfect moment.. and now it's going to be all weird. I really like the Addie/Pete relationship, and I thought the way they brought them together this season was not that great. but NOW .. I'm just soooooo mad

honestly I am done with all that "violet has gone through some pretty crappy stuff" YES she did, she still does. Still what she is doing is not right, lets not forget that. She doesnt want to get therapy although she is a therapist herself and doesnt see that she needs help.. fine.. knock yourself out... dont get help.. dont get healed... run away... sleep with fathers of co workers, thread friends, babies and boyfriends like crap and I guess as long as she isnt healed she can get away with pretty much anything because she is soooooo sick and has been through a lot. I bet she could get away with a lot more than that just because of that. I am not saying that what has happened to her hasnt been awful because it was, and I am not saying she should be healed yet because a thing like that probably takes her whole life to work through.... but not getting help when she is a therapist herself and should at least know that getting help is better than running off... then yeah.. that I dont get and therefore she lost all the respect I had for her and I dont forgive her for anything she did and still does just because she has been through a lot.. if she wants forgiveness she should the freaking hell ask for it and start to care again.. she should get help and work through her issues.

and Addison at least tries.. she is taking care of pete.. she is taking care of his kid and eventho she is still in love with Sam, we didnt hear her mutter his name in her sleep right?? Yes its not shocking that it happened.. I agree with that... but it shouldnt have happened.
