I love this idea and this thread. I feel in love with the first Doctor on an Unearthly Child that was the first episode of Classic Who that I ever watched.

I think BBC has to air a special for the First Doctor this month? I've read they're making specials up until November and then I'm guessing they're gonna air something special about all of The Doctor's incarnations.

That will be something interesting to watch. If they're doing this, I'm curious who're they gonna pick to play him.

I just noticed that Doctor Who and James Bond are kinda the same, in that a lot of guys have portrayed them. James Bond is getting some OSCAR love this February (I think Connery, Brosnan, Moore, Dalton, and of course Daniel Craig are all coming for that tribute) and I hope Doctor Who gets the same treatment, maybe BAFTA style?

That's awesome!! I'll add it to the OP
We should definitely do Hartnell rewatches this month though... maybe Friday and Sunday for the next two weeks, and keep the Saturday one for a miscellaneous episode of awesomeness (Oh what a great phrase... note to self... use that phrase more often) So for instance: Friday 18th Unearthly Child Saturday 19th Miscellaneous episode of awesomeness Sunday 20th The Dalek Invasion of Earth Friday 25th The Chase Saturday 26th Miscellaneous episode of awesomeness Sunday 27th Time Meddler And people can join if they want/have time, and not if they don't? And then for future months just do Friday/Saturday instead of all three days, as the reason for doing two Hartnell ones a week is due to the fact that I set the thread up almost two weeks into the month, whereas if we set up a new Doctor thread each month we should be fine with one episode a week... __________________
