I don't like him as the Doctor, he's my least favorite as everyone else was good for me.

True, it's probably because he only did 1 season so we didn't see him as much but he doesn't really talk about DW after he was replaced (doesn't attend cons either). It was only lately that he started talking about DW again.

A journey that briefly began four-ish years ago (when I decided to take a hiatus from a foray through Classic Who via the Colin Baker Era in order to prep for Series 12 of Modern Who) has come full circle, as my Modern Who Pilgrimage has reached the end of the Peter Capaldi Era and cemented his Twelfth Doctor as my second-favorite Modern Doctor behind his successor, Jodie Whittaker's
Thirteenth Doctor.

Watching Twelve's 3 Series in context also helped crystallize a thought that had briefly crossed my mind previously and that may, in some fandom circles, be considered controversial: Sacha Dawan's Spy Master, introduced in the aforementioned Series 12, does not in any way undermine the character arc that Steven Moffat crafted for Michelle Gomez's Missy; in fact, it does just the opposite.

The sad tragedy that she tried to do the right thing in the end, got literally shot in the back for it, and ended up regenerating into someone who was even more unhinged than the person who killed her actually enhances her arc by making her stand out more and highlights the nobility of what she tried to do even though it ultimately proved to be futile.

Really? I did like one ep from his run, I forgot the title but it was the one where he kept dying and coming back to life over and over because time was effed up.
