It's hard to get a true read on a character based on only 3 episodes, especially if those episodes are experienced out-of-context.
So I liked Capaldi's 12th Doctor as I've briefly encountered him, but need to see more of him before figuring out exactly where he ranks on my Doctor Scale. I did love the farewell speech he gave, though, since all of the things he said to do or be in said speech became key and core elements of who the Thirteenth Doctor is, which is neat. __________________
